About
A Certified Professional Resume Writer, I’ve crafted thousands of resumes over the past 20+ years, for clients in all professions, levels of jobs, and industries. My prior professional experience includes positions in business management, administration, technical writing, and desktop publishing, in fields including education, aviation, restaurants, hospitality, real estate, publishing, training, and community service, in New York state, Stowe, Vermont, and the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. Entrepreneurial in spirit, I’ve also contributed in various ways to the start-up of a variety of companies and organizations, including my own temporary employment service and a non-profit village beautification group.
Educated and trained in Journalism at Johnson State College in Johnson, Vermont, and in Psychology and Art at SUNY Plattsburgh, I stay current in resume development trends and job and interview coaching, regularly attending web seminars conducted by the Career Management Alliance and Jay Block/Professional Association of Resume Writers. I’m a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers, and the Career Management Alliance, and attended the Career Management Alliance Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2007.
